The small owl toy I bought came with batteries included. I checked the store to see if it did. Everything seems to be functioning properly.

After seeing the picture, I had higher hopes. But, in reality, it's a typical plastic item and quite small. I wouldn't purchase it if I saw it in a store, but considering the price, it's acceptable.
